Streets Alive is a charitable group that promotes culturally thriving communities through traffic-free street events.

Set up in 2001 as a not-for profit limited company, we develop special ways of engaging with the public and communities on social and travel issues in street events. As an independent group we can play a useful role supporting local authorities.

We specialise in creating community-based events which engage the public in creative and meaningful ways. These range from local trading initiatives such as local markets and promoting greener travel to arts, sports and children's play.

Training, projects & consultancy

Streets Alive provides advice, training and consultancy services to communities, local authorities and local businesses.

We can also manage events in conjunction with local events teams.
